Somewhere, deep in the forest, there is a circle of trees where the light comes pouring through. Six trees total, spaced far enough apart for a soft breeze to disperse between. Natures comb. Intoxicating Redwoods, ferns with long fingers, buzzing behind leaves, and thick patches of fog. Its perfect here. This is my happy place.
I have spent over a year now in solitude, locked away in my bedroom like some kind of miserable princess. If there is one thing I am craving now - its nature. I wanna GTFO, you know what I mean?? Take a deep breath and not be surrounded by my things. Its the ultimate fantasy!
Its nice to know the trees are close by. And so is the future! I get my second Moderna shot on Tuesday and will be announcing my return to hairdressing very soon! I am excited!! Everything feels new again and I am eager for the chance to start over. When everything burns down - you gotta build back up! Just like the Redwoods.
Not entirely sure what kind of update this is but I want to express how hard I've been working on myself. Investing into who I am outside of my career has been really difficult at times. I always panic and feel like my hobbies should be monetized or tied into hairdressing somehow. It is so draining to think that way. So now I write because I have something to say. Or practice guitar because I've always wanted to learn! But deep down, I wish I could get away and be in nature with my friends. In my happy place. :)

If you have read this far - I appreciate you! I want to share this book that a fellow Hairdresser shared with me months ago that I recently found as an audiobook. Its for all the wild ones out there! Love ya'll <3
